Whoops it's been way too long. Some notable things worth remembering include:

Christmas dinner with the lads, prepared by Ross. It was really good! Andy and I provided ice cream for dessert.

Finished exams, only know one result so far but I'm happy with it! Hopefully the rest are just as good

Went to Tesco in Kilrush with Andy for a day of bag packing to collect money for his uncle's center in Tanzania. I had a great time and we made 1200 euro in one day!

Andy and I went to see Avatar in 3D. It was fun and a good movie. The last few days with him were a blast

We had our Christmas together last night. I made a pork and bramley bake which was delicious and some sugar cookies plus some chocolate ones that I had mix for. The mix came with a wooden spoon, cookie cutter, and oven mit from Andy as part of my Christmas presents. We exchanged gifts and from Andy I got: pearl earrings that I'm in love with, oven mit+, furry handcuffs (lol), and a covered hot water bottle because I'm always freezing in bed when he's gone. I gave Andy Diesel cologne, the same scent he wore when we first met. Sense of smell is such an amazing memory trigger so it's a really special scent to us. I also gave him a pair of Guinness socks with American flag on the top of the pint, and a box of Jaffa cakes. Andy left this morning for Tipp and he's going to try his best to get back here for St. Stephen's Day but it's tricky with no trains and limited bus service. Sigh. It was a fantastic Christmas though, I can't imagine anything better.
Today I'm chilling out and I think I'll just stay in and wait to Skype with the family back home. The sidewalks get really icy and dangerous so I will make my half carton of milk last. I might do some college work too, ugh. Though RTE.ie has the 1st two seasons of Mad Men up and I'm sorely tempted to just watch that.
Merry Christmas!

Another week has flown by, but it was pretty good, especially Wednesday. I was done super early so Andy and I went into town to get ornaments for our Christmas tree. He picked it up for me half-price the day before and I was soooo thrilled. So we got lights and ornaments, got some other fun stuff and did some browsing. We also stopped in for hot chocolate and a muffin. We did the decorating and wrapping of presents that night and it was really so nice.

I have quite a bit of work to do this weekend. Next week is the last week for lectures and then it's a week of finals, then X-mas break!

Edit: I'm making chicken enchiladas for the lads, Marie, Babycakes, and myself on Monday. The jambalaya was a success!

The past week has been the best ever! Spend pretty much every moment of every day with Andy. That sounds horrible or whatever but actually it seemed just natural and we were like, wow.. you really don't get on my nerves..which was awesome. Sunday we saw New Moon with Nev and Ross (lol) then Monday we went into town and walked around and did some grocery shopping. Tuesday we went out to Mahon Point and walked around the mall. Andy bought me 2 dresses on sale and I bought some kickass boots that Andy also helped pay for. He's too good to me, I'm going to try and convince him to have that be my X-mas presents but he said no :/ Wednesday we hung around the apartments. I fainted after a too long/hot shower and Andy's computer fucked up and magically fixed itself. But still turned out to be a great day because the laptop is fine and I only got a big bruise on my leg. Thursday we went into town again and had American burgers at Eddie Rockets for Thanksgiving, lol. We thought we'd go out to CIT for their 'X-mas Day' thing but ended up not. I probably could/should have tried cooking but meh, next year. Then we went out to Havana Browns after I consumed too much alcohol. Then today, Friday he went to Tipp for the weekend with Ross. And even after all that, I miss him. It was such an awesome week though, getting to sleep in every morning with him.

Now I'm gearing up to watch my 1st Late Late Toy Show with my flatmate, Marie. I'm also probably making Jumbalaya next week for dinner, so that's exciting.

Naples is beautiful. I'm loving the gorg weather and the breeze. The STANK of burning trash needs to gtfo, though. Jesus. Everyone I talked to in Rome immediately brings up the trash problem here.

Also I'm currently watching He's Just Not That Into You and it's brill. And reading a good book. And season 2 of True Blood is slowing appearing online. I love summer

Andy is back in Ireland, he left this morning. Ahhhh.. it certainly doesn't get any easier, but what a fantastic 2 weeks! Rome was a blast. I was really proud of us navigating around Italy, especially since it was a first 'on our own' trip for both of us. He was so much fun to sight-see with, too. His sense of humor just kills me. Also, the lack of I love/miss you responses came up in conversation and he did admit he just wasn't comfortable saying it in texts/emails and he didn't realize how badly I needed to hear it back. It was good to be able to talk about it in person. Being apart has sucked, but I feel like we're closer each time we visit; it's lovely. So, I'm missing him a whole lot but I'm looking to be back in Cork for college in early Sept so an end is in sight. I also got to meet his favorite uncle, the priest who lives in Tanzania. He was in Rome the day we went back up (the day before Andy's morning flight) so we got to pop over to the church and have dinner. We also talked about getting a puppy in the distant future, lol, mostly because that is my latest dream I've been entertaining, and even indulged in discussing names. I always love any sort of future talk. We also both think a trip to Japan would be unreal but that, too, would be in the distant future.

Us on the island of Capri.
Oh my gosh, I'm so behind on updates on life. I graduated a week ago, I can't explain why but it just feel so flippin to cool to say I have a bachelors in computer science. And to think of myself as a college graduate. It's fab!

Then like 4 days later I'm a plane to Naples, Italy. It's still a bit surreal to actually be here, and I was a little freaked out at first to be surrounded by a language I don't understand. It's so pretty to listen to, though. We had an 8-hour layover in Munich and I have to say, I quickly grew very tired of hearing German being spoken. That's kinda rude, I know, but it's not very pleasant sounding. One of the neighbors has a little boy, and it's just the cutest thing to listen to tiny voices speaking another language or with an accent.

Andyboo is going to be coming to Rome in just 18 days. He saw Angels and Demons the other day and said he's really looking forward to seeing Rome since the movie took place there, lol. I'm pretty stoked too, I hope we manage the city and other tourists alright. I can't wait to see his little face everyday :')

Well, I wish I had some more interesting stuff to post about...but I don't. Just doing the college thing, I have about 2.5 things to finish (all have been started) for handing in next week- last week of classes- so I'm just plodding along with that. Then it's 4 exams over Tues-Thurs the week after next. 2 are open notes though so that will be lovely. That's about it. Exciting stuff.

I am beat, beat, beat. But this week, as busy as it was, has been really excellent despite that.

I finally get my 2nd and final recommendation letter mailed out!! Should be there next week. Also, my mom called the loan company people and they got my stuff, and sent whatever UCC needed, now we wait on UCC. Awesome!

I was just commenting on bebos and LJs and I always proofread before submitting but omg the amount of typos in these short blurbs to people was insane! Sluggish mind.

And greatest news of all, again I don't think it's really gotten to sink in....

ANDY BOUGHT HIS ITALY TICKET!!
I will see my little pumpkin on June 4th
--edit: Sorry, June 3rd.

I should really consider giving up going to the gym on Tues & Thurs. I'm just so tired from 3 classes and working out doesn't help. But I really like it, and it's one of the few things I really like...enjoy about college. Plus the results, so I will just suck it up!

And we are in the final 5 week countdown for classes! Thank the lord. I have a lot of assignments lined up already to be done for the next week. It's maddening.

I don't know what it is, maybe just end of the week blues. Tired from this week, stressed about the week to come, missing Andy so terribly. But I just get SO sad around Wed/Thurs. I just got an email from him and I feel like bawling. Last week I watched Waking Ned Devine, came home to Skype messages from him, cried, went to bed. I chalked that up to hormones, though. Those little fuckers are crazy!! I just learned about them in Bio class, they are responsible for like...everything. And if they get fucked up, then so do you. And I was totes PMSing. But anyway, off track. I know I should keep my eye on the prize, all this will come to an end soon enough. But lordy, I wish it'd come sooner!
